<p class="Paragraph">By single-clicking several icons you open floating toolbars. These are menu windows containing commands you can choose from. Click and hold down the mouse button on the title bar and drag it away from the object bar. As soon as you release the mouse button the floating toolbar remains at the new position. You can then click on the title bar and drag the toolbar to another position, or close it by clicking the Close Window symbol.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">In the text box here, enter the numerical value or select it with the up-arrow or down-arrow buttons. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>On the keyboard you can use the (up-arrow)and (down-arrow) keys to increase or reduce the value in the spin button, whilst you can use (Image up) and (Image down)to set the maximum and minimum value for this spin button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">If the spin box defines numerical values, you can also define a <help:popup Id="65602" Eid="metrik">measurement unit</help:popup>, e.g., 1 cm or 5 mm, 12 pt or 2".</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">If you click forwards through the dialog, this button is called <span style="font-weight:bold;">Next</span>. On the last page you can change its name to <span style="font-weight:bold;">Convert</span>. The conversion is then performed by pressing the button.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">To activate the context menu of an object, first click the object with the <help:switch select="System"><help:case select="MAC"/><help:default>left</help:default></help:switch> mouse button to select it, and then, <help:switch select="System"><help:case select="MAC">while holding down the Ctrl key or the Command and Option keys, click the mouse button again</help:case><help:default>click the right mouse button</help:default></help:switch>. Some context menus can be called even if the object has not been selected. Context menus are found just about everywhere in <help:productname>%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname>.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can enter values in the input fields in different units of measurement. The default unit is inches. However, if you want a space of exactly 1cm, then enter 1cm. Additional units are available according to the context, e.g. 12 pt for a 12 point spacing. If the value of the new unit is unrealistic, the program uses a predefined maximum or minimum value.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">Resets the values visible in the dialog back to the default if they are changeable.</help:help-text> Many default values can be altered under <span style="font-weight:bold;">Tools - Options</span>; whatever you enter here takes precedence over the <help:productname>%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> defaults.</p>

<p class="Paragraph">The dialog is automatically minimized when you click into a sheet with the mouse. As soon as you release the mouse button, the dialog is restored and the reference range defined with the mouse is highlighted in the document by a blue frame.</p>
